Elite Eight- Sunday 3/31

We’re getting down to the wire folks. If we win one game today then we’re guaranteed a winning record on the tournament. We had 2-0 snatched away from our clutches last night. We had an easy outright winner with Texas Tech then Purdue blew what should have been another outright win and somehow didn’t cover. The first really disgusting beat of the tournament that has hurt my soul. But we move on to today. Today we do go 2-0. Let’s roll.

Bruce Pearl has been on an all-time coaching display in March. He got his team to roll through the SEC tournament to get themselves to a 5-seed and they have shot the lights out every game of the tournament. I thought UNC was the best team left in the tournament and Auburn made them look like a joke. Unfortunately, I think the road ends for Auburn here. With Okeke out for Auburn and PJ Washington back for Kentucky, I think the Cats will be able to dominate inside and Auburn’s well might run dry without the inside option.

I am now 3-0 fading Duke in the tournament. I said before I thought they were insanely overvalued and that’s continued to be true. Michigan State has been one of the best teams in the country ATS all year and have won all their big games (B1G tournament, Michigan x3) so I trust them in this spot. I’m praying to God that Duke’s absurd luck runs dry here and they miss the Final Four. Sparty On.
