There’s another week of NFL football ahead. I am ready for a big weekend so let’s try to piece one together here. It was a solid winning weekend last week to get out of the Week 1 hole.

NFL YTD: 10-8 +0.22u

I am not betting on TNF. Daboll and Jones as big road dogs is a very good spot but I don’t trust the Giants yet. Also, the 49ers have been absolutely rolling so I am just staying away here.

1u Titans +3.5 @ Browns- Vrabel as a dog until the cows come home. Vrabel has now covered back-to-back weeks as a dog to start the season including an outright win last week. DeShaun Watson has looked dreadful so far this season and in a close, low-scoring game I’ll take the points with Vrabs.

1u Packers -2 vs. Saints- I believe in Jordan Love. He has a 6-0 TD-INT ratio to start the season and I think he will simply score too much for the Saints to keep up. Derek Carr has been super mid so far this season and I am not afraid of him at all with Jaire taking Michael Thomas out of the game.

1.5u Vikings +1 vs. Chargers- I am backing Kirk here. Brandon Staley and the Chargers are broken. They simply cannot win close games. The Vikings are just as desperate as the Chargers for a win and at home I trust the Vikings more than the Chargers.

3u Rams +8.5/Bills -0.5 Teaser- I love this tease. The Bills proved they are still the Bills by dominating the Raiders last week. Sam Howell has been awesome but I expect him to come back to Earth a bit against the Bills here and Josh Allen will keep it rolling. The Rams have looked great so far this season. Matt Stafford looks like Super Bowl winning Matt Stafford again and I expect them to score enough to hang with the Bengals who will either be without Joe Burrow or he will be unhealthy and we have seen how bad that has been the last couple of weeks.

1u Ravens -1.5/Jets +9 Teaser- Backing Zach Wilson against Belichick is so scary but I can’t pass up this spot. The Jets’ defense is going to be pissed off after last week and will take out on Mac Jones. This will be the worst of the three defenses that Zach Wilson has had to face this year so I expect him to be better if the Jets can provide halfway decent O-line play. This number is too long for the Ravens but Lamar looks like MVP Lamar and I expect them to handle business against Minshew’s Colts even if they don’t cover.

1u Steelers +8.5/Falcons +9.5 Teaser- Tomlin dog spot again. He came away outright last week and I can’t go for that but I do think this will be a one-score game in Vegas. Meanwhile, the Falcons look awesome to start the year. I was very close to backing them +3.5 but I think this is the safer option. They should run the ball effectively and hang in this game.

My survivor pick of the week- I should have been doing this all season but I am still in my survivor pool after using the Commanders Week One and Giants Week Two. I am rolling with the Bills against the Commanders here in Week 3.

I lean Bucs against the Eagles on MNF but I am staying away for now. Stay tuned for any adds!
