Last week I came up with a war manifesto. I was in a hole and looking for a way out. Unfortunately, things did not go according to plan. It was not a devastating week by any means, but it was more pushing money around. Here are the numbers and then we’ll talk more about the specifics:

CFB Week 9: 4-4 (-0.44u)

CFB YTD: 70-73-6 (-8.47u)

NFL Week 8: 4-5 (-0.48u)

NFL YTD: 41-33-1 (+5.98u)

I’ll be honest… I deserved a winning week. The winners were clear winners with Kansas +10 winning outright, both total bets being easy easy easy, and Arizona won outright as a dog as well. Now, the losers… UCF was an embarrassment and killed the MLP. Maryland was the stinker of the year. However, Kentucky easily could have covered down the stretch but settled for the field goal instead of getting the ball in the end zone. More importantly, we were robbed of the Washington team total. We missed out by 2 points and that was with the Huskies turning it over inside the 20 TWICE in the 4th quarter. Just repulsive.

We have a couple of days to be frustrated about those losses though and then it’s on to the next. I felt very confident in my process and the wins being so dominant is something to feel very good about. There is a huge week ahead and I am ready to fully dive into it. I am going to have a great guest on the podcast this week so make sure you are subscribed. We are gonna break down the big picture, playoff predictions, and much more.

Bonus cool thing: I only bet two look-ahead lines in college football before the season started and gave them out so hopefully people got them. They coincidentally were both this week and both have aged nicely. I had Washington +6 at USC and they are now 3.5-point favorites, gaining about 9.5 points of CLV. I also had LSU +7.5 at Alabama and that has dropped well inside a touchdown so that is a great number to be holding. Hopefully those get home on top of a great week overall.
