We finally got some positive momentum cooking last week. Week 9 was basically a full reset on my process after what had been a rough season. Now after Week 10, we are finally gaining some ground back. It is time for another positive week to really get that number back close to even.

Of course, the gambling gods demanded a sacrifice of a losing week in the NFL in exchange for getting some money back in college. However, we are now just 1.31u away from being up overall in football this year. This is the weekend to do it, IMO…

CFB Week 10: 13-8 (+3.89u)

CFB YTD: 83-81-6 (-4.58u)

NFL Week 9: 3-5 (-2.71u)

NFL YTD: 41-33-1 (+3.27u)

Football YTD: 124-114-7 (-1.31u)

There is no podcast this week because I am 99% sure I have the flu. Sounds like a perfect day to just lay on the couch and watch a great slate of games. Here are my quick thoughts on every game that I’ll be betting on this weekend:

Kentucky +10.5 vs. Bama- Bama is coming off their huge game against LSU where they theoretically locked up the SEC West. Now they have an 11 AM local kick in Lexington that should be very sleepy. Kentucky plays good defense and runs the ball- the perfect recipe for a dog in this spot.

TTU +3.5 @ Kansas- Kansas is on a roll at the moment but this is a prime letdown spot for them. They have a rivalry game against K State next week after their emotional run of games leading up to this point. The Texas Tech everyone (except me) loved in the preseason is still in there somewhere and this could be the spot to get their season back and at least get to go bowling.

Penn State +4.5 vs. Michigan- Let’s do this shit again. The entire circus around this game has gotten to a ludicrous point but I still believe in Penn State. This is our last stand.

Maryland (-130) @ Nebraska- Maryland has hit rock bottom. Nowhere to go but up from here. We must beat this Nebraska team.

Arizona -9.5 @ Colorado- Keep fading the Buffs. Them covering last week was a fluke of all flukes. They stink. Arizona rules. Easy.

Miami +14.5 @ FSU- I still think someone is gonna catch FSU before the season ends. This is the perfect spot for a Miami team that the world has given up on.

Washington -9 vs. Utah- The Huskies continue to roll on. Utah on the road is a totally different animal and they don’t have the offense to keep up here.

OKST/UCF o65.5- OKST’s offense is the hottest thing in America. They should score a ton on this bad UCF defense. OKST’s defense though has been pretty bad and UCF should be able to put up a ton themselves. Shootout here.

NW +11 @ Wisconsin- NW is on a great cover streak. They are playing feisty and this Wisconsin team shouldn’t be such a big favorite against anyone.

Rutgers (+105) @ Iowa- The toilet bowl is here. Everything says Iowa is the master of these games but Rutgers is certainly the better team with the better offense. Believe in Schiano.

Cal (-115) vs. Wazzou- Wazzou is a downward spiral. Keep fading them til the cows come home.

USC +15.5 @ Oregon- I am the world’s #1 Oregon hater. I don’t get why they are being crowned as the best team in the country. USC just went from a 3 point dog against Washington to an over-two-touchdown dog against Oregon?? Ludicrous. Caleb Williams still exists. Let’s do this.

Air Force -19 @ Hawaii- Island action. Air Force gets back on track here and rolls.
