Just 13 short days ago I wrote a blog about the red hot Knicks, playing at the peak of their game. Since then, the New York Basketball Knickerbockers are 1-5 and have dropped from 3rd to 10th in the East.
I want to be honest, this is on me. In 20 years of cheering for the Jets, Mets, and Knicks, the fact that I was optimistic about any team I cheer for is a joke. Realistically the Knicks were gonna start losing anyways because that’s just what happens, but I definitely threw some gasoline on the fire. The Knicks have not been able to play any defense and their best player has been Derrick Rose. Which on the one hand is good to see, but on the other hand he should be the third best player on offense droppin dimes, not leading the team in scoring.
The Knicks need to string some wins together starting with the Bucks tomorrow night, or else things could get out of hand real fast.
Side note: The Knicks have not won since The Zen Master became single

You can never be optimistic rooting for those teams until the season is over, the whistle has blown, and nothing bad can happen. Tired of being a hater. Just one championship from one if these teams would ease the pain.
