Hello, friends. *extremely Jim Nance voice* I am Blakey Locks and I will be your guide this March. Every round I am going to traverse you through the trials and tribulations of betting your mortgage on 18-year-olds playing basketball. From Duke to Seton Hall to Gardner Webb, I will give you the knowledge necessary to conquer your bookie and feed your children. We will win together, lose together and laugh together. Let’s ride.

NCAA Tournament Record- (31-25)

Sweet Sixteen- Friday 3/29

Yesterday wasn’t great but it wasn’t awful either. We had one fantastic game that just didn’t go our way in OT. We had one that was hovering close the whole time with FSU but Gonzaga snuffed them out. Easy winner with Texas Tech. Then if you follow me on twitter or sports action you saw that we got 2u down on UVA live to get that win. But as a man of honor this record is just picking games ATS before they start so that isn’t on the record. Which leads us to day. I like it a lot more than last night. Let’s win.

P.S. Due to unforeseen circumstances I’m blogging from my phone so if there’s any formatting issues I profusely apologize.

7:09 PM on CBS- (3) LSU vs. (2) Michigan State (-6.5) o/u 149

I’ve stated before that LSU is a team of destiny. I also don’t know if they’ve had a game decided by more than 7 points all year. Every game they plays goes to OT and/or is decided by a goaltending call. Tigers cover the number.

The Pick: LSU +6.5

7:29 PM on TBS- (5) Auburn vs. (1) UNC (-5.5) o/u 163.5

I think Auburn’s luck is going to finally run out. UNC is going to D them off the three point line. I think UNC is my favorite to win it all at this point. This might get ugly.

The Pick: UNC -5.5

9:39 PM on CBS- (4) VA Tech vs. (1) Duke (+7) o/u 142.5

I have faded Duke all tournament and I’m 2-0 doing so. My strategy won’t change. They continue to be overvalued and are facing a team that knows how to beat them. Coach Buzz will have the boys ready.

The Pick: VT +7

9:59 on TBS- (3) Houston vs. (2) Kentucky (-2.5) o/u 133.5

The status of PJ Washington is still uncertain as of now which is the big story and makes a huge difference. At this point I have to pick as if he’s not playing. I think without him Kentucky will struggle. Houston is better than I thought. Hand up. Credit to me.

The Pick: Houston +2.5
